Wei-Shen Chin is an award-winning wildlife photographer based in Orlando FL. His area of expertise is capturing birds-in-flight, one of the the most technically demanding areas of photography.
His images have been recognized nationally in prestigious organizations like Audubon and Nature’s Best. His work has been featured in Florida State Parks. He has a long history in photography first working as a stringer for UPI/Reuters in Cleveland OH covering the Cavs, Indians, and Browns. He was also a successful wedding and portrait photographer before moving to Florida in 1991. He was an apprentice under the late Ron Kuntz, UPI Bureau chief, and the late Pulitzer Prize winning Time/Life photographer Lynn Pelham.
He recently teamed up with Photo Gear Designs engineer Paul Yarnall to release the Tracker 2, an updated model with an improved mounting foot and adjustment device holder.
